Mark Burkill was not brought up as a Christian but was converted at the age of 20, while studying archaeology. He considers being a minister to be the best job in the world because it deals with the most important part of people’s lives. He is married to Christina and they have three children. Mark has been vicar of Christ Church since 1991, and is Chair of the Latimer Trust.
