Peter J. H. Adam served several curacies in Melbourne, Australia and studied in England at both London and Durham Universities, gaining a PhD from the latter on the practice of the imitation of Christ with special reference to the theology of Dietrich Bonhoeffer in 1981. After several years as a tutor at St. John’s College, Durham he returned to Australia and was minister of St. Jude’s, Carlton for 20 years and Anglican Chaplain to Melbourne University. He became Principal of Ridley Mission and Ministry College, Melbourne in 2002 and has published several books on biblical spirituality and exposition including Hearing God’s Words and Written for Us.
